Favorite Restaurant. Good food & customer service

Food was pretty good , could have been a little warmer (some dishes were almost cold).....service was very good....

After reading the reviews, I had some reservations. I was pleasantly surprised.

I like this place alot! It's been a great Chinese place for the city of Thomson. The same people have owned it for several years. They are very friendly, always greet you as you walk in. I usually have good experiences with the food and service. However, the last time I went they had NO AC! It's Georgia and it's way too hot for that. The food and service was still good but I was sweating while eating and didn't really feel satisfied about the food because I just wanted to leave due to it being so hot. Hopefully, they get this fixed soon. It is a good little spot.

The service is very disturbing.. I mean I have never been so disrespected by a server in my life. I got three buffet and one tea. Most of the food was cold at 3:00 in the afternoon. The server stoped picking up our plates and deliberately would not fill my drink. Who does that? I am so upset that this is literally the first review I have ever done. Disappointment is what you are in for when eating at this establishment.

This is the only restaurant that I dine in in Thomson! We enjoy Sue and staff as much as we do the food!

Everything I ate was good. Price is good for a sit down buffet.

Honestly wish I could not rate them and leave a review. The food is absolutely disgusting and the place is not clean. The food was burned and greasy. The cups were all chipped and even a tea was sour. DO NOT GO HERE!! IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!

Food was fair, not good like in the past. Lady was very, very rude, service was terrible. They make out like they have no idea what you are saying to them, and we sure can't understand them. I will never eat here again and don't recommend you to!!! Save your money!

Service is always great. Food is so so. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Don't wear flip flops or sandals unless you want to walk out of them on the very sticky floors.

Sunday lunch has the freshest food. Great service.

This was the worst food i have had in a long time. The food was cold. My husband got a chicken wing with feathers still on it and another that had blood in the middle. He complained and she just walked off. Will not ever come back here.

The workers are dress rather sloppily. There's an old man creeping around with a walker while you eat. The entire building needs a remake, inside and out. I think they sleep there and if they bathe you can't tell. The food is acceptable, but I don't trust their habits.

I tried 1-2 bites of all their chicken and beef entrees on the buffet, only the freshly served black pepper chicken was worth eating. I eat Chinese food regularly and I don’t expect to enjoy every recipe by everyone but, this wasn’t worth the time. Not impressed by staff or cleanliness. When I asked if they served hot tea, waitress was clueless.......it’s chinese 🙄 I feel bad for the locals that think this is good......

The food is usually pretty good. The people are nice.

I always order from the menu now. I rarely use the buffet. The chicken mei fun is the best noodle dish I have had. I couldn't find anything like it in Savannah or back in Charleston. I always get it when I am visiting family. The sweetnsour chicken and almond chicken is always good and cooked to perfection. The crab wontons and the egg rolls are also amazing choices for sides. Chicken im broccoli is amazing and the chicken wings are big, nice quality, and amazingly cooked everytime.I stay away from the buffet, as people let their kids get up there unsupervised and it can get nasty. Also the food gets over cooked under the heat lamps. I also prefer take out because the floors can be nasty and the seats are old and cracked.Thats why its not 5 stars. If it were just about the take out I would give 5. But the inside could use some updates.So you can't go wrong with ordering off the menu and taking it home! So check it out, try the mei fun noodles!

Nasty food..Need to be closed down... My baby wasted her drink and we used napkins to get it up.. The people that work there got mad. We paid $50 for nothing this place was a waste of money. We didn't find anything good on the bar.. if I could give you a zero Stars I would but I had to pick one .

Found a worm in my food. Told the lady and she looked at me like i was the problem, she told the manager while he was standing there on the phone and he brushed it off and told her to give me 2 dollars off. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have pictures and the board of health will be contacted.

Its takes alot for me to not like chinese, but this is the most disappointing, honey chicken taste like ketchup chicken, and crunchy rice. At least the tea was good

Awefull if I could give a negative five stars I would. Terrible service for an above averaged priced buffet. No telling how long the food had been sitting at the hot bar before we got there. They just add to it instead of removing the old food.

The service was awful, the food was awful. food was greasy. Will not go back there

I'd rather not comment....we sat there over 45 mins to an hour waiting on fresh food...no such luck

I admit it. I usually don’t go to buffets between traditional mealtimes. This family owned restaurant was okay but I’m not sure we will do the buffet again but o would order for carry out.

Has gotten worse and worse over last few months. They don't have warmers on high enough to even keep the food warm.

Very good lunch buffet, and friendly staff. Always feel welcome, good prices. Enjoy going to their restaurant. Also easy to get and out of with traffic.

Interior in desperate need of a redo. Very dingy with torn seats. Was wanting the soup but the dumplings were dried out and hard...as well as 75% of the food on the buffet. Waited for fresh sweet and sour chicken to be brought out...left while the hard ones were still out. Dissapointing all the way around.

Worst buffet I’ve been too! Service was awful and so disrespectful, the food seemed to be so old and dried up. This place really should be shut down.

I give 5 stars. The service is great and the staff are nice. The food is fresh and delicious. I'm trying everything and it's good.I don't understand why the bad reviews but those ppl need to check themselves. Great place to eat if you love Chinese

The ac is broke so you sweat while you're trying to eat. I got won ton soup from the buffet and because I ordered off the menu I was charged $1.00. That wasn't a problem. The problem happened when I asked for a box to take my 78 year old mom's food home because she had just came out of the doctors office and couldn't eat in the heat. We were being charged for the buffet and only wanted to take the full plate in front of us home. I was basically accused of "stealing" because I had made a trip back to the buffet for my mother to have more fried noodles for her soup. The owner was rude and the food on the buffet had no taste and was cold. We were sat at a dirty table when there was obviously other tables we could have taken. I am a waitress myself so I don't usually critique, but this place was horrible. I did finally get a box.

Found a maggot on my chicken and broccoli. Food is as bad as place looks. Mold everywhere .

The food was not bad. However the place was old and shabby, with years of dirt evident in the areas that have been moped for years. It is a shame that they can not afford to have this place remodeled. I also noted that they were not running all the meals purchased through the cash register. Making me think that they might be skimming money. While this has nothing to do with their product it does make one wonder about the quality of their food. I would not rate this place very high.

The prices are about average but the food is good, and service was great.

Yummy food, good waitresses that come and check on u and ur meal, but I gave it 4 stars because it gave me food poisoning once but that was a long time ago, they provide a TV to watch while u eat ur meal, kid friendly, waitresses wait on you to need something, secure here is amazing.

We have eaten here about 12 to 14 times a year for the last 7+ years.1 bad buffet meal in over 80+ visits. The best time hit this buffet is 11am to 1pm. or 5pm to 6:30pm. Easy on off I-20 access and numerous gas stations (Love's & Racetrack) nearby. Good Egg Rolls, soft warm dumplings, mouth burning hot Chinese mustard, great sweet and sour chick lightly breaded, good rice, Good Pepper steak, Good General Tao's, generally good deserts. Good Southern style sweet tea coke products. This comments is based on our 7-18-20 noon visit. ...

Not an fancy place, but good service and great food. I go there often.
